Most kids get a summer vacation every year. But not kids in foster care. Most foster kids have never experienced celebrating a birthday, let alone a family vacation. At Place of Hope, we do things differently. We prioritize family summer vacations. We recognize a summer family vacation is an opportunity to create new memories and first-time experiences and a fun way to teach our youth about history, art, culture and nature. It is also a critical part of therapy for those who have experienced trauma.

This year, we invite you to help us help the kids by bidding in our online summer auction! We will be releasing a variety of fun summer friendly auction items for you to enjoy, while raising funds so we can provide our children with their own summer vacation.

Our online summer auction will be live from Wednesday, April 17 through May 31. However, each item will have a "buy it now" option for the highest bidder to take home. Once an item has been bid on with the "buy it now" option, it will no longer be available online.
